At Winchester School of Art (WSA) we are proud to be one of the UK’s leading art and design institutions and part of the world renowned University of Southampton. WSA is an international centre of ideas and innovation and has a long history going back 150 years.

On our fashion design degree our students put their creative ideas into practice to develop their own creative style and gain essential practical and research skills. With generous space and resources students are able to ‘learn by doing’ in fully equipped studios. Smaller student numbers enable our industry experienced staff to provide personal support and offer students professional opportunities.

In the live projects, designers meet the students, share their experience and select students for internships. Students can also study abroad and take a Year in Employment.

WSA alumni work in a range of prestigious companies in the UK and internationally, including Burberry, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and more.
